West Midlands Bus Based Accessibility (Tuesday)

The CDRC data service has funding until early 2025. It has indicated its interest in applying for further funding under Phase 2 of ESRC Smart Data Research UK until at least 2029. Any Phase 2 extension will require a successful application in open competition. This means that, if not successful, the CDRC service will wind down and end on 31 January 2025. Accordingly, this will be the last possible end date for approved data applications, until further notice.

Accessibility estimates to selected POIs (retail centres, supermarkets, clinics, GPs, hospitals, railway stations) based on bus timetables and the ITN road network at OA level 2010-2016.

Travel time is the mean minimum time to reach each of the specifiec POIs across a 24 hour period calculated at 30 minute intervals. Based on a Tuesday. The tables also include the percentage change in mean travel time from the value 12 months previous, where this is available.
