Retail Centre Indicators Metadata Profile

The CDRC data service has funding until early 2025. It has indicated its interest in applying for further funding under Phase 2 of ESRC Smart Data Research UK until at least 2029. Any Phase 2 extension will require a successful application in open competition. This means that, if not successful, the CDRC service will wind down and end on 31 January 2025. Accordingly, this will be the last possible end date for approved data applications, until further notice.

This data profile describes a dataset held by the Consumer Data Research Centre (CDRC), which has been generated through original CDRC research, based on data provided by the Local Data Company (LDC). The dataset contains aggregated indicators at the retail centre level, for the most recent iteration of the CDRC retail centre boundaries.
