This data profile describes the Residential Mobility and Energy Performance Certificate (RMEPC) datasets held by the Consumer Data Research Centre (CDRC), which are created through original CDRC research. The index data are compiled through analysis involving the linkage of CDRC Secure Data Linked Consumer Registers (LCRs), and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), at property level. The data provide average and median changes of energy performance rating, potential energy performance rating, and total floor area of residential move out, into, and within each Local Authority District (LAD) level in Great Britain (GB). These metrics are aggregated for the entire period from 2009 to 2023 and further segmented into three-year intervals within this timeframe.
